What working together looks like
A practical path from question to clarity.
Good work starts with understanding the business, not prescribing a tool. We begin with the question in front of you, the way you currently work, and the decision that needs a clearer answer.
From there, we agree on what useful looks like, choose the right level of support, and build only what helps you move forward with more confidence. The process stays focused, collaborative, and grounded in how the result will actually be used.
Based in Pepperell, Massachusetts, we support small businesses locally, across southern New Hampshire and Greater Boston, and throughout New England.
The 30-minute consultation
Start with a focused conversation.
The first call is a working conversation, not a sales presentation. We will talk through what is happening in the business, where the information lives today, and the decision or recurring frustration that brought you here.
By the end, we should both understand the question more clearly. If there is a useful next step, we will explain what we recommend and why. If the problem does not need a larger engagement, we will say that too.
What to bring
- The question, decision, or process that feels stuck
- Where you currently look for answers
- Examples of reports or spreadsheets, if they help
- What a better answer would let you do differently
The work and the deliverable
Know what we are building before the work begins.
If we decide to work together, the next step is a clear scope. It will name the business question, the information we need, the deliverable, the timing, and what success looks like. You will know what to expect before any build starts.
The right deliverable depends on the problem. It might be a focused analysis, a practical dashboard, a reporting workflow, a decision-ready tracker, or a recommendation that helps you choose what to do next. The format follows the need, not the other way around.
What you can expect
- A shared definition of the problem and the finish line
- A focused deliverable built around the agreed decision
- Plain-language definitions for the numbers that matter
- A walkthrough so you can use the work with confidence
- Clear recommendations and next steps
Ongoing support
Keep the view useful as the business changes.
Some questions are resolved with one focused project. Others keep moving as sales channels, customer behavior, inventory, or priorities change. Ongoing support gives you a familiar analytics partner without turning every new question into a new starting point.
The cadence can be monthly, quarterly, or tied to a specific business rhythm. Before it begins, we agree on the priorities, the level of support, and how we will use the time so the relationship stays useful and appropriately sized.
Ongoing support can include
- Reviewing results and identifying what needs attention
- Answering the next business question
- Refining reports as priorities evolve
- Improving recurring reporting and manual processes
- Adding new information only when it earns its place
